There’s never enough free time in the day, is there?
Not enough time to get to the gym, to learn a new skill, read a good book, or make progress on that idea we keep talking about.
Many of us are long on good intentions but fall short on making any real progress.
And yet, some people make it happen. You know who they are. Somehow they manage to start a project and finish it. What’s their secret?
It’s not complicated. These people have learned to value their time.
They understand that time is a finite resource. A zero-sum game. Every free minute spent on one thing is a minute lost on something else.
Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.

Time is the great equalizer. We all only have 24 hours in a day. Not a minute more.
So if you’re not making progress towards your goals, then maybe it’s time to be honest with yourself.
Where is your free time going?

I promise that if you complete this exercise, you’ll be surprised by the result.
Another helpful resource is Make Yourself Great Again, created by Steph Smith. It will give you a sobering picture of how much time you spend on distractions versus investments.
The truth is that we all have more free time than we think we do.
The only question that matters is: How will you choose to spend it?
