That’s your expanded job title.
Your business card might say that you’re a Product Manager, Sales Associate, or Customer Experience Specialist. But really, a leader’s primary role is that of the CPS.
Every organization has problems. Ask anybody and they’ll readily tell you what they are. That’s easy.
But leaders step up and offer to help find a solution.
Leaders don’t ignore problems or try to cover them up. Instead of panicking, they see problems as an opportunity to provide value.
To be in business is to solve problems for other people in exchange for money.
And so our value is a reflection of the problems that we are able to solve.
If you want to increase your value and make a bigger difference, then you need to solve more challenging problems.
Career growth begins when you start to view problems as your way forward, and not as obstacles to be avoided.
